Retailers cannot pay to appear higher or rank first on BestPeek. All price comparison tables and merchant listings are ordered strictly by the lowest calculated landed price for the consumer. While we may earn an affiliate commission when you complete a purchase through our merchant links, this commercial relationship never influences our price rankings, deal verdicts, or editorial assessments.
A low sticker price can be misleading if shipping fees or checkout costs are inflated. BestPeek calculates the True Landed Cost by factoring in estimated shipping thresholds, active coupons, and merchant delivery policies so you see what you actually pay.
Prices fluctuate by the hour. We pull direct data streams through official authorized retailer APIs (Amazon Product Advertising API, Walmart Creator, Best Buy API, and Rakuten Commerce Feeds). Stale prices are purged continuously.
Retailers frequently inflate original prices right before promotional events to claim a "50% off" discount. Our 12-month historical price database compares current prices against true 90-day and 365-day medians to flag genuine deals vs artificial markups.
We prioritize authorized direct retailers and verified marketplace sellers with clear customer protection policies (minimum 14β30 day return windows). Gray-market or unverified storefronts are filtered to safeguard consumers against counterfeit goods.
BestPeek participates in affiliate marketing programs with retailers including Amazon.com, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and Rakuten. When users click an outbound link and make a qualifying purchase, the merchant pays us a standard referral commission.
Crucially: Affiliate payout rates have zero impact on our sorting order. If Store A pays a 5% commission but offers the item at $100, and Store B pays a 1% commission but offers the item at $90, Store B is always listed first at the top of our comparison matrix.
While our systems scan prices 24/7, retailer flash sales or sudden stock-outs can occasionally create momentary discrepancies between our feed and the merchant's checkout screen.
