The mattress was good for the first 5 months. Now it sinks in and it's so uncomfortable to sleep on. I weigh 115 lbs. next time, I will invest in a higher quality mattress.
I was moving into my own apartment and wanted a good, firm, and supportive mattress that would hold up… and I didn't have much money to spare. Now, 2 months in and I still love this thing… I sleep wonderfully on it and wake up well rested. A few weeks ago I picked up a 2” cooling gel memory foam topper because it was on sale, and it does add a little extra plushness and a more luxurious feel to this bed (and it was less expensive than going for the Deluxe version). My only complaint is that the edges of the mattress are not supportive at all… so if you try to sit on the edge of this it will compress and you will slide downwards.
I purchased this bed for my son going into Middle School. I ordered online and picked it up in the store. It was super easy to set up. It's not the softest bed that I have ever laid on, but comfortable and durable for the price. The mattress didn't smell and there were no bugs, like I have seen when viewing amazon ratings on mattresses, stop hesitating and purchase this one.
Ok I didn't expect much at all from this. I needed a new mattress ASAP and saw this in the store. But to be honest, it's a mattress, rolled up in a box, at Walmart. Who would expect this to be great?! Despite the reviews being mostly positive I didn't expect a lot here. Plus I was very concerned on the hybrid memory foam. I thought it would be hot and have that grabby feeling of memory foam. It doesn't (thankfully because I HATE that grabby feeling of too squishy memory foam). The mattress is actually great. It's not a firm mattress (not sure how anyone thinks it is). If I had to rate it 1-10 with 10 being firm, it might make a 6. Barely. But it doesn't have the pillowy, squishy top (maybe people are confusing that with firmness?). I usually sleep on my side and like a firm mattress. But this was actually very comfortable despite not being very firm. No pressure points or anything like that. It also doesn't get hot. Despite the lack of firmness it seems pretty supportive. Other than having a bit too much give I'm very pleased, it actually beats the 2 year old $800 mattress it replaced, And it seems well made. I don't think it quite expanded to the 10 inches, but my last “12 inch mattress” may have barely been 11 and it wasn't vacuum packed. All in all very happy with my impulse buy and would both recommend it and buy it again.
This is the hardest bed. I thought firm was going to be okay but it's like sleeping on the floor with a blanket under you. I'm going to take it back to Walmart. It did come out to the right size and all the wrinkles came out.
