The Pioneer Woman® 6-Strand Embroidery Floss Kit, Vintage Floral, 6 Yards (36 Pack)

I love the floss shades in this box - they are perfectly coordinated with Pioneer Woman floral prints, so if you want to embroider a border on your kitchen curtains to match your dinnerware, this kit is perfect. That said, quality could be better, and is a bit disappointing for PW merch. The box, to start with, is very pretty and fairly well made, but has no closure, not even a magnet. It's covered in paper, not fabic, and isn't engineered well to hold the floss - there is extra room that the cardboard insert that holds the bobbins has to cover. The floss is cotton but not great quality - definitely no DMC. Each bobbin holds 6 yards so you get 18 yards total of each color. For the price, I'm not unhappy with my purchase, but I would happily have paid a few more dollars just for a slightly better box with some kind of closure that I could reuse for storage once the floss is used up. I'm a big fan of the brand and so happy it has expanded into sewing and craft supplies, and this is really the first time I haven't been thrilled by a purchase.

Make sure you look at the photo of the contents for each of the three sets...Breezy Blossoms, Heritage Floral and Vintage Floral. I didn't pay much attention to it. I was expecting different colors in each of the three sets. On the Pioneer Woman.com site it says: "Each set comes with a beautifully patterned storage box and 36 individual floss bobbins pre-wrapped with embroidery floss. Included in all those fun and vibrant colors, you'll find shades that match the print featured on the lid of the storage box. " Actually there are only twelve colors and you get three of each. There is no difference between the three sets. I'll make use of them but very dissappointed each set wasn't unique. Wasted $21.70 for a duplicate and glad one was out of stock or I would have been out another $21.70.

It will be hard to describe just how beautiful the colors are in The Pioneer Woman Vintage Floral 6-Strand Embroidery Floss Kit, 8.75 Yards - 36 Pack actually are. The pictures do not show the crisp, bold colors. They literally shimmer they are so bright. First the box is very vintage. I have some boxes like this from a very talented great aunt. I got some of her stuff when she passed and this floral design and the lid with compartments inside is so similar to the antique ones I have. Bright different blues and pinks for the flowers covering the outside of the box are outstanding. It's seven inches wide by five inches deep then one and three quarter inches high. It opens to thirty six different beautiful colors of embroidery thread or floss. Everything is neat and organized in three compartments. The colors are red, mint, flamingo, teal, coral, bright blue, pink, light blue, yellow, black, jadeite, and white. The colors can be used to embroider many different patterns and designs. I planned this as a gift to my granddaughter but I'm thinking I'll start using this kit now and get another one for her. I am impressed with the beauty and quality of the entire kit.

This site has so many fun colors. I'm not surprised based on the fact that it is pioneer woman but there are so many pretty colors for my projects. The threads Seems sturdy and strong and I think will work just fine for my needlepoint. I'm anxious to start using them I am very impressed with the packaging and it was love at first sight when I open the box

WOW. I love everything pioneer woman but they definitely went out of their way in putting together this embroidery selection. Each color is neatly wrapped on a cardboard with the color written on it. The flosses are in a perfect combination of colors with 6 yards of each color so just enough for a small to medium project. The quality is great. The box is beautiful and constructed of thick materials with a removeable insert so that the box is completely re-useable after you finish the floss.
