My first pioneer woman skillet and she is a beauty. Just the right size for family dinners, and not too fancy but just fancy enough to have the neighborhood Karen jealous. Made of cast aluminum with a beautiful wooden handle. Your meal cooks evenly and you barely have to turn it on. this is my all time favorite.
So this pan is good looking and light weight. It heats evenly and is nonstick. I made breakfast for 7 and was able to use one pan for bacon, gravy and eggs with just wiping in between with a paper towel. I love that i didnt have to use multiple pans to cook breakfast for everyone and that made clean up much quicker. I also appreciate the high sides of the pan. So it can easily be used for chili or soups as well. I can easily see this pan becoming my daily go to.
What a really nice cooker this is from a very nice brand! It is lightweight and very versatile. It is cast aluminum with a glass lid. It is really pretty, probably the nicest cooker I have ever owned. I love that it has nonstick coating to make cooking easier as well as cleaning. It's also convenient that it is dishwasher safe. It is perfect for casseroles and just about anything because of the size. I absolutely love it and definitely recommend it.
This aluminum fry pan is so nice,I almost hate to use it. I especially like the beautiful wooden handle that gives it a classy accent to the granite look pan. This 4 quart jumbo pan is cast aluminum with a non-stick coating for easy cleaning. One other thing I like about this pan is it seems larger and lighter than I expected. The directions claim it can be placed in and oven for a short time. 30 minutes at 350. I don't plan on doing that. I wouldn't want to ruin the nice handle. I have other cookware just for oven use.
First I made fried rice, then I fried eggs to top it. It heats up really quickly and I did not notice any hot spots. It is really deep; I will probably learn to fry chicken. The glass lid lets you see what is happening in the pan, and the vent means you don't have to set the lid off center to reduce sauces. The wooden lid knob and pan handle stay cool to the touch, so there is not need for potholder. It says dishwasher safe, but grease just wipes out with paper towel and then a quick swipe with soapy sponge and rinse. Couldn't be easier.
