I bought this and I love it, it works very good,I use it with my iPad 4th , the only thing is that I had to buy a adaptor because it can connects with a I phone 4 b,but it's not a big deal , just buy the adaptor to use it with I phone 5 or iPad 4th, the speakers are loud enough to use at home.
Assembly is required; but, i am in a wheelchair and was able to do it. Unit had problem with microphone jack that any run of the mill inspection should have caught. It does a lot, most of which I don't n eed, but it does not explain operation easily. It is superior to one piece units and is good for hVING FRIENDS OVER.
My daugter loves it. Wish I could have found in the description that it will not work with the iPhone 5!!!
Made our Christmas party a success.
