0.120" x 2" x 12", 80CRV2 Alloy Steel Sheet

80CRV2 Alloy steel is also known as "Swedish Saw Steel", is a high carbon, chromium, vanadium steel with the same qualities as 1080 and 1084 steel, but with perks of a high chrome steel such as 5160. Commonly used in making knives, tomahawks, saw blades, and any other cutting toll with a need for toughness. Can be forged or ground. Tradename is Uddholm Saw Steel 000.

This alloy been properly annealed and is in the soft condition. You do not have to do any non-standard wasteful processes before heat treating. The steel must be heat treated to get to a hardened state. Follow the heat treat recipe and the steel will harden.
