10" Fisher-price Boys' Bike

I NOTICED AT THE STORE THE OF BIKE CAME WITH A HELMET> HOWEVER< BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT ON LINE SHIP TO STORE THE BIKE DID NOT COME WITH A HELMET

Bought a new one. The chain slips off if the cycle is put in horizontal position or bent in angle. Should be always in vertical with the floor. If kids put the bike in horizontal position or put horizontally in your car trunk or somewhere else, the chain simply slips off. I realized this after the chain slips off when my kid puts the bike in horizontal position. Lot of pain to put the chain into the position by removing the chain covers. Not a practical bike. Never faced such issues with my elder one's bikes.

I purchased this bike for my 2 yr old grandson. The bike is very sturdy and not hard at all to put together...including pumping up the small tires. The seat, handle bars and the training wheels are all adjustable. He should get a few years out of riding this bike. Other 10" bikes have the peddles up by the front wheel, this one has them where they belong. Also does not have the "middle" bar like other boys bikes, there for making it very easy for him to get on and off all by himself. The shape of the seat also helps him stay on instead of sliding backwards. I am very pleased with this purchase. Including the amount of time it shipped in, as it came sooner than what the original pick up date.

I purchased this bike less than 3 months ago and it has been broken for more than 8 weeks. This is not build by Fischer-Price but by another company, Kent, who only has the license to put the Fischer-Price name on the bike. The quality is poor and the customer service is worse. The front inner tube had several holes after only three weeks of usage and 10" inner tubes are impossible to find. I had to call the manufacturer for the part and was told to call back in 6 weeks! After waiting so long I finally was able to order the part -- NOT covered under warranty -- and was told it would arrive in one week. Two weeks later it still didn't come and I called again. They simply hadn't sent it! Save yourself the headache and get another bike.
