This is an OK phone for the price. Phone is technically a different company than Verizon. We tried to use this phone on our current Verizon account (old phone died and weren't eligible for upgrade for six months). Were told that that would not be possible until we completed a six month "no contract" contract with it. If you want a cheap "no contract" phone for kids - probably OK. If you want to use this with your current Verizon contract - not gonna happen. Took it back to Walmart for refund.
