Ceramic Tower Heater, 1,500-Watt

I use this in my kitchen which is very cold, but small. It enables me to turn the furnace down and still stay warm. I find it does emit a certain odor which is a little annoying, but not enough to stop use of the heater. A cool setting is an extra-I can use it all year.

We purchased Ceramic Heater couple of weeks ago and it has been even more than we expected. In 7-10 min. it warms up on "low" mode my entire living room (19x19) + small dining room, and just 3 min. for 16x16 bedroom. It's very quiet! Right as you turn it on it starts on "cool" mode. Click "mode" once and it will be on "low", consuming 800 watts. "High" is 1,500 watts but you don't really need it if the room is small, unless you've been gone and it's gotten really cold. There's a rotating option, which is a nice feature. Timer of 0.5, 1, 2, 3 and 4 hours. Very light weight. If you decide to move it when it's working, it will shut off and once you place it back on a floor (or other flat surface) and will automatically restart (great safety feature, esp. if you have young kids). Living in Minnesota and surviving the cold, I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to others.

It has been exactly what I needed and very safe which was one of my fears for purchasing a heater. It keeps my bedroom and bath warm which is a large area. I bought two as gifts one for a friend who has an old heating system and she loves it stated it keeps her 1/2 of her flat warm. The only problem is it shuts off after 4 hours and you need to start it again, I usually catch it when I'm going by but I guess this is also for safety: wouldn't want to leave it running with no one around. It's made a big difference for both my friend and sister and myself.

Once I got the heater assembled, I plugged it in and was able to use it the same day that I received it. It was a little difficult to get the cord to fit into the "holders" at the base of the heater; however, that is minor compared to the actual functionality of the product itself. I noticed a difference almost immediately. I have placed the heater in a central location of my house and make use of the oscillating fan. Since my house is on the smaller side, the heater does a good job of making it more comfortable all over (especially at night when the temperature drops). This product is perfect for anyone who lives in a small space like a dorm room, small apartment, or house. It's worth the money.

We bought this heater to heat our garage where we have some of our exercise equipment. As you can imagine, depending on the weather it can be pretty cold in there. We typically start the heater about 1/2 hour before we go out and it usually heats up the room pretty well, especially given the price we paid for it. I really like the timer so that I can set it and if I forget to shut it off, it does so by itself. I would definately recommend it.
