Andis CSI-2EA - Hair styler

I've used this flat iron for about 10 months. After a few months the gold paint on the plates started coming off. There is a horrible smell every time I heat it up. My hair catches in the plates and pulls. I have to use it on the highest setting to straighten my hair, which is thick but not naturally curly. Yesterday I discovered the plates aren't heating up anymore! I am so disappointed in this flat iron. After all the positive reviews I read, I expected better.

Absolutely straightens hair, great product I always use this brand, it lasts for two- three years.

This works better than the chi, its the only straightener i will use on my hair. i never ever write reviews on things but i had to for this. i calll my andis straightener a "prettyfier" because even when my hair is straight i use it, just to make my hair pretty, soft, and perfect. it akes your hair unbelievably soft, causes no damage, straightenes amazing, no fly aways and is over all the best i have ever used/seen and probably invented ever. i SO recomend this to ANYBODY regaurdless of hair thickness/texture/type. its great for all people!!!

I have very thick hair and it is easiest for me to straighten my hair with a 2 inch straightener but they are very hard to find. This specific one does its job and was reasonable priced. I have used it every day since I got it and it does a good job. Its a lot lighter in weight compared to my previous one so that's nice!

I just bought and used this product today and they are amazing. The best $20 flat irons ever!!! I am so happy with these, but BEWARE. These are so good that they were too hot on 20 and kind of burned my hair. I had to put them on 10 and I have thick course hair.
