They are thick and give a hardy and satisfying resistance, but unlike a lot of 2-ply heads, they are bright and resonant but with a sharp attack and clear pitch. Much of the midrange frequency spectrum is deemphasized to enhance clarity of pitch and body. Excellent durability.
