GoPro Hero 5 Black Camera

Haven't used the camera itself as yet, still gathering the essentials required to use it, such as memory, but the camera lacks information including instructions on usage. You even need to research the memory required. Hope the recordings out weight the PITA this camera is to use.

Purchased this as a gift for spouse along with the remote and mount. Right out of box camera had no charge, then wouldn't take a charge. Finally got it to take a charge, was at 100% and an hour later dead! Tried it again and figured we had a bad camera and exchanged it for new one. Same thing happened. Got on You tube and seems this is a common issue and this BRAND NEW version already needs an update. Got Go Pro customer service on line, went thru updating and it worked. Mounted everything on motorcycle to use and remote and camera kept disconnecting from each other over and over. When it would stay connected now the remote would not take just 1 picture-it kept going into burst mode, taking 30 or so pix at a time and would not quit until we took it apart and took battery out. Looked on Youtube and sure enough, another common problem. Back on phone with Go Pro customer service and after an hour and 45 min. and this update and that update, etc. they advised us to exchange remote. Did that and the exact same thing happened! We decided enough is enough, and back everything went but it was a few days outside of Walmart's 2 week camera return policy. Go Pro only wanted to give us yet ANOTHER camera-no thank you! We have had enough, do not want a 3rd one! Thank goodness Walmart credited our credit card and stood behind the sale. Very disappointing. This whole purchase was about $600.00 and we could never get it to work! Go Pro needs to fix these issues BEFORE they put them out for sale! It is ridiculous to have a brand new version out there and have it already flawed and requiring updates.

Really Great videos and photos as it was promised. The negative point is the plastic case is very simple plastic look like poor quality, in my opinion is not at the same level of the camera.

The camera is promising.
