The sound on the first one was so bad it had to be returned to and replaced by RCA. The second set had much better sound, but not great: tinny, raspy, hollow, with echoes. After several months, now picture and sound blink on and off--usually for less than a second, but can last minutes. Very sporadic and occasional, but very annoying and unpredictable. RCA tech service points finger at cable supplier and anyone else they can. I'm still trying to pin them down to take responsibility because there are three other brand sets hooked up identically with no problems. Still fighting and it's not worth the hassle and headaches. You can surely do better on value, price and performance.

Before buying this product, I read the reviews from other consumers. I'm happy to say I did not experience any of the problems I read about. The picture and sound are fabulous. No problem with channel delays(maybe because I use cable). This product was a tremendous bargain, and for once I got MORE than what I paid for!

This was a great purchase. Easy to set up and use. I have noticed a sound echo or something if the volume is up to high, otherwise all is great.

It is everything and more that we had hoped for. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is great. The intregrated DVD is so easy to use. We love it and would definitely recommend it. The delivery and speed of service from Walmart was great.

I bought this TV for my 12ft x 14ft bedroom and placed it in a unit on the wall opposite my bed. I connected it to an old analog antenna and the TV pictures came in great. I live outside of the Houston area, and so far I get 23 digital channels, including HD formatted programs without the use of an HD antenna. After adjusting the antenna a little, the analog channels came in great, too. And the screen size is perfect for my room. I can even read the text in the "Jeopardy" and "Millionaire" answer boxes from across the room while sitting or lying at the head of my bed. I read some of the other reviews regarding problems that were noted with this TV (volume buzzing, screen brightness, etc.), and simply made the adjustments that were suggested to solve those problems. The only thing that annoyed me a little about the TV at first is that it doesn't have a clock, but I've gotten over that. The sleep timer, which the TV does have, is more important to me. All of the TV controls buttons are placed on top of the TV for use in the event that you're closer to it than to the remote control when you want to change the channel, adjust the volume, or just turn it off. And I've used the DVD player a couple of times, too. It works great as well. This is a very good TV and the price isn't bad, either.
