T-mobile Wfm Samsung Galaxy Iii Lte

This is a great phone and I love the fact that you can use Wifi Calling when there is no cell service like user GeeCQCee mentioned in his/her review. My sister lives up in the mountains and all I did was connect to wifi through router, then go in your settings, then call settings and turn on wifi calling. This is great for anyone whose wifi meter up top has more bars then cellular bars. Just know if you walk around house while you're talking the call is going to break up if you walk away from router n person won't hear you well n might disconnect. Also, if u get a sim card error which I did, go in store n tell them u can't use Wifi Calling bc of sim card error n they'll swap it out for you. I saved all my contacts to device 1st but u may have to have them copy old sim to new sim. In this case u may get more cellular bars if sim was old. Don't worry that u didn't buy phone there. I just brought phone in. You are a Tmobile customer n the sim is not allowing u to make wifi calls. I loved the fact that if you already have a plan with Tmobile that you can go to Walmart n buy a prepaid phone or family talk whichever is Tmobile plan n take your sim card out of old phone put it in new one n it immediately worked n went right into setup mode. I know this is long..... But one warning, turn wifi calling off when u leave house.. I've been on a wifi call N drove away from house n it disconnected and in my area there are tons of Hotspots and if u leave wifi calling on... You make a call while in the car it may connect to wifi Hotspot n u keep driving now away from hot spot n call disconnects. I learned all this by realizing it was wifi calling. If you're at a restaurant n there's no cell service but they have wifi, then turn it back on again. I connnect to wifi wherever I am to conserve data. In the beginning I had 200mb n Tmobile strongly advised me to go higher, I used wifi everywhere, turned data plan off unless I needed it n set up phone to alert me at 175mb and turn data off at 190mb but I never came close bc like I said I kept it off bc there is so many free WiFi Hotspots in my area. I think the most I used was 100mb but if u watch videos, YouTube, movies, music or Facebook, it's all over for my 200mb.. Well, I know this was way too long but I was hoping to inform people with bad cell service, like a basement apt that has no cell bars but wifi calling is available. Also, when you go to other countries as long as you have great wifi bars you can call USA for free. Just don't forget to put wifi calling on. I loved being away n being able to call friends n family free. But turn phone off if away from wifi or not using it bc u will get charged even if u don't pick up. As long as phone is ringing u get charged. It's 20 cents a minute now but years ago it was alot more. Ok, I probably took up an entire page. Sorry so long n I hope it was somewhat helpful. Krissy

I upgraded from an Alcatel Evolve to this phone and it's soo much faster at loading pages. I only connect to the internet using wifi, no paid data plan, and I'm able to connect much faster. I'm not too thrilled with the buttons on both sides of the phone because I'm always pressing them inadvertently. They should have put the on/off button on the top. You do NOT have to buy the walmart family mobile $25 activation kit if you are already on a Tmobile plan. You will need a micro sim card for this phone which you can pick up at any Tmoblie store for $10. I'm on the tmobile Pay-As-You-Go Legacy plan.

Galaxy series are lot better than iPhones in function/form and flexability, plus the Walmart deal makes this item the best deal in town. I am still happy after a month of usage. I bought spare battery and charger cheap, and I don't have to worry about battery due to the user replaceable battery feature which not many smart phones offer.

I did my research on this phone and glad I did, it has fast response time crisp clear pictures, if you can't find this model in Wal-Mart family mobile you can in fact buy T-Mobile brand and it works. Only thing I wish they had was WiFi calling as my reception is poor

This is by far the best deal around. This is a great replacement phone. Everything about the phone is great. Can also be used with any service provider that uses the T-Mobile network.
