I basically text, talk and take pictures with my phone. I did not need a phone that is fast at anything because I do not access the Internet with my phone but it is nice that I have the capability with this phone. All that other stuff is just extra for me so this phone has proven excellent. It holds the charge for a day and a half, it is easy to use and I would recommend it to those out there that just need a phone for the basics.
From the reviews I thought this phone was good. However I took the phone back because all of a sudden it started to update on its own for 2 hours. I found the screen very poor quality. The phone is fast granted. I had to take battery out to reset the phone after the up date was not doing nothing. After that it was down hill on this phone. Also the phone was overheating. So can I give a good review on this phone???. I feel AT&T need to produce better Go Phones. There service is good as far as calling and texting. But as far as choice of Go Phones very limited.
Didn't get this phone on the Black Friday deal like a lot of other reviewers but did pick it up on the reduced price $68 or so. This is not a typical low end phone. Fast processor, LTE speed, UI is decent, expandable memory-up to 32gig, 5mb rear / 2mb front cameras, decent feel, good sound, and last but not least the call quality is good (noticeably so). The few lows are the visual resolution isn't as crisp as the LG i had before but definitely not bad. The onboard memory is not great. The usable space once you put a few apps on is around .5gig or so. Something to keep in mind. You can only move certain apps to the SD card so beware. Other than that you can't go wrong with this phone if you need a replacement like i did and wasn't willing to pay up front or go for ATT's "wonderful" NEXT plan. (FYI...all you're saving on the NEXT plan is the financing) Look for the Huawei Tribute model designation for accessory stuff.
If you want a phone that everyone goes OOOOH and AHHHH when you take it out, this ain't it. If you want a solidly built, functional smart phone this is it. Often overlooked in these days of text, email and tweeter is talk quality. This is a phone in the true sense of the word. If you ever find yourself in a real phone conversation you will definitely appreciate this phone. It can do all the other smart things too. If you want to impress your friends something else might work better for you. If you want a lot of functionality for a low price this is it. The only negative about this phone is the annoying AT&T Address Book that insists on opening every time you open your Contacts. I found that I can open the dialer and select the Contacts tab and it doesn't open and eat up my precious data allotment.
I've rooted mine and now have 13gb of apps on it. THIS is the best value for your money. It has a qualcomm snapdragon 400 SoC inside which makes it a beast, same SoC as many big budget phones. The only difference here is slightly less resolution screen and the 1.6gb usable memory which rooting can fix in combination with the app FolderMount or an xposed module called "OBB on SD"
