Spring Valley Prenatal Multivitamin/Multimineral & Folic Acid Tablets, 240 Ct

I really liked this vitamin it never made me sick and worked well for me. They didn't have a taste as well which is good because I can take it with ease. However I bought a new bottle and the color of these pills where born and speckled instead of the usual pink! They now smell and taste horrible, as soon as you pop it in your mouth it starts to dissolve and taste awful! I hope they can switch it back to the normal pink because I can't handle it and don't take them anymore because of the new color and taste.

I am very concerned with the prenatals I bought. I have used these for 4 plus years, and all of a sudden there is a color change to them? I am worried they are the wrong vit. They have always been pink and now they are brown speckeled. They also taste horrible! The pink didn't have a taste.

So I'm 24 weeks and have been taking this since Week 6. I ran out and went to local Wal-Mart and purchased another bottle late December. They were no longer pink however. They now appear brown and speckled. I wasn't too concerned because pills change uniform often but seeing as how there are several people mentioning this change and the responses from the manufacturer claim they have not changed their formula in any way...thats alarming. I too am wondering why the vitamins I most recently bought are speckled and brown, not pink like they have always been for the past two years I've been taking them? I can assure you, it is not the equate brand, but most definitely the spring valley brand. If spring valley did not change the product (and I'm thinking they did not since there is nothing to be found on the internet about it), then why is the product different?

I have taken this pill for over a year but had to stop for like a week. When I went to buy them I noticed the pill is completely different. I am pregnant so this concerns me. They are now speckled instead of being pink and they are much thinner. I just need to know before I take these again thank you.
