12" Tonka Mighty Bike

Bought this for my 3 year old nephews b-day and was so happy with it. He was able to get right on and start riding with no problem. It is heavy as per other reviewers but to me this just showed how sturdy it is and with my rough housing nephew that's a very good thing. He loves it and it was his favorite gift.

My son is now four and we got this bike for him for his birthday. It's perfect for him, perfect fit, perfect height, and he loves it because he thinks its 'tough' like a Tonka truck. Less than $60 at WM, not a bad price. No problems with the bike so far, like it very much!

Beautiful bike and I got it off Craigslist, so I don't feel bad for spending the $35 I did. But reading these reviews...yes, it's heavy! 31 lbs. Heavier than my husband's mt. bike! Yes, the seat is too high for the lower end of this age group. Again, didn't spend the $60, so my husband took a saw to the metal seat post and took a 1/2 inch off the bottom. Now, my almost 3 yr. old can pedal. Good construction, but Tonka may have a few things to improve on with their next model.

Bought this bike for my 2 year old nephew. Unfortunately, he still can't quite reach the pedals and he got very frustrated that he cannot ride the bike. It is very sturdy and he looks so proud while seated on his very cool bike. Hopefully, he will add a couple or more inches soon. One more thing, I don't advise buying this online (which I did). Go to the store and bring your kid along to test height, etc, to avoid frustrating and disappointing the child.

I ordered this bicycle and had it shippped to the store. Although everything was fine with the shipping, the bike was slightly damaged. We didn't know this until we put it together on Christmas Eve night. Even though we had to exchange it after Christmas, my little boy loves the bicylce, and we've had no problems with the one we exchanged it for -except that it did not come with the cup and cup holder as did the one we ordered.
