I have these boots and i am looking for a size 9 & 1/2! i really hope and pray you do have these amazingly, wonderful, boots that ive had for 10 years again! when it comes to comfort you CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS STYLE AND BRAND! I HIGHLY RECAMEND THESE BOOTS TO ANY AND ALL! PLESE LET ME KNOW WHE YOU DO HAVE THEM, I WOULD LOVE TO ODER 2 PAIRS PLEASE AND THANK YOU! (but if things turn out not to go as expected and you no longer have them please help me find a number or a contact that can help me find the love of my life when it comes to Ozark trail~thanks again.
These boots are NOT waterproof, in any sense of the word. That's my biggest complaint really. Upon entry of your feet into moisture you will feel instant wetness that permeates your sock to the maximum. Other than that, pretty comfortable, even on long hikes. No problems after 200 miles of hiking. No tearing or separating. These boots really are a pretty good value. But the words Ozark Trail Bandy II and "waterproof" or even "water resistant" should never intermingle.
I went into walmart looking for some sturdy Bramahs and spoted a pair of Ozark trail Bandy II. The size is off so I had to buy one size smaller than usual. But the fit was perfect. I love how the boots do on mountain trails, broken terain, and the ever common asphault. They even due good on ice. The waterproofing also does a surprisingly good job. But after about one year the seams along the out side ball off foot tear open. The boots are still great and comfortable but water now comes into the boot in any wet situation. So great boot but they need to add extra stitching to said seam or get rid of the seam. I plan to replace the boot with a slightly diferent model of Ozark trai boot that doesn't have the seam. But all in all a great boot for $20. But wallmart needs to offer this boot year round in Alaska we use boots year round.
Before I purchased this boot I read the reviews. After about two years of wearing these boots for short hikes, yard work, landscaping & deck building on weekends. I must say the only negative comment I have is I do not like the upper speed lace hooks. They are sharp and sometimes go right through the laces. So when I take the boots off I have to dink around getting the laces undone. Outside of that I changed the foot pad and put in my own. Personal option. Great boot durable, comfortable, sturdy, water proof, good lug sole pattern & great price. I can wear them all day long in comfort. As I wear them as a weekend worrior I really did not feel like spending $100.00 plus on name brand boots. I will be back when these wear out in about 10 years. I hope they are still selling them at Wal-Mart.
A few years ago I had a pair of $200 boots fail while I was hiking the Wonderland Trail. One of the boots came completely apart. Since then, I have been wearing Bandy II boots. They are just as comfortable as the expensive boots and have never failed.
