Works great, very pleased. A real time saver.
Totally missing the handle to make this how gadget work
I researched it before hand and got exactly what I expected. It'd be a little better if they made it of clear plastic on at least the coin hopper part to see into it, but I rolled up around $300 in change fairly quickly and without any problems. I didn't place the coin rolls into the tubes. I let it sort and slipped coin rolls over them in the tubes as they filled up. Easy Peasy.
We've had this sorter for only a week or two, but my wife and I have sorted over $200 worth of coins. (They've been piling up for a long time.) It does clog up the pennies' section from time to time, but then we worked it pretty hard. The vast majority of our coins were pennies, and we usually filled the hopper about 2/3 full. I was aware that it had its limitations, from the online reviews. It was very quick, and dependable enough to be a joy to use. I would recommend this to people who can accept the fact that perfection can't be bought at this price.
Had over $500 in change. The banks wouldn't count and convert it. Coinstar wanted 11% to do the same. So for about $25, I got this beaut. It's plastic and probably can't take a beating, but if handled deftly, I suspect it will last for years. It is easy to use and 10x faster than counting and rolling by hand.
