Brother SDX85S ScanNCut DX Electronic Cutting Machine - Sky Blue

The machine cuts well. The display window is very small to work on. I live in the US an am very disappointed that the print to cut feature is not available on any of the machines. It was one of the reasons I purchased the machine. How can it be a feature on machines that are outside the US not here?

I bought this to replace my Artistic Edge 15" which I didn't use that much. I was intrigued by the scan option. OMG, I use my Scan n Cut all the time. The scan feature is amazing. I no longer will be buying matching dies for my stamps. It's so easy to scan the image and cut it out. And you don't even have to turn your computer on. And scraps are easier to use because you scan them in and know exactly if the cutout fits. I just love this machine.

My Scan N Cut SDX85 bundle is great!!! I was a little intimidated at first, because up until now, I had only watched Youtube videos on it. However, to my surprise, it was pretty easy to use and fun. Its also alot quieter than I thought it would be! And that xtra long mat that came with it is the exact lenth of my leather!! Also, Ive been doing crafts with my grandson...and now he cant wait to finish his homework so we can "play" with the Scan N Cut. It's a win-win all the way around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love making crafts and wanted to do more sophisticated crafts for kids birthday parties and special occasions. I thought Brother SDX85 will be an ideal machine in helping me with that. When I first saw it, I loved its compact and nice design. The setup of machine looked little bit complex to me but it was not. I read the instructions that came with the machine, but the online installation videos made it more clear to me. It comes with a auto blade holder, standard tack adhesive mat, spatula, stylus, accessory bag, power cord and 1 cardstock. Once installed and connected to internet, the machine was ready for use. I was able to load the mat easily and did test/trial cut several times for accurate cutting. Moreover, the machine is not noisy. I like its scanning feature, by which I can scan my own personalized design and can cut it out. Love that it comes with lots of built-in designs which is helpful for beginners/crafters. I had tried few projects with cardstock and I would love to try crafts with felt & fabric. I wish it came with more crafting accessories! This machine has lot of potential and I can't wait to explore it.

The machine is thee coolest product I own for my small business. I love that it's not too large in size so it takes up only a little bit of my workspace. The set up was very easy with clear instructions that were provided. I love the color options they had to choose from, I chose Blue and absolutely love it! I can print stickers and have them precisely cut (even with many angles). I love how minimal noise the SDX85S makes. Truly a blessing to have going through as many stickers as I do. Overall I'd highly recommend this product and will continue to make all fun shapes and sizes out stickers. Can't wait to try other projects!
