I bought this pack because they di dnot have the red type in stock and I needed some quickly. One had very thin fabric atspopts; you coul;d see my finger through the thin material. I tried to fit the other one in but the cardboard was too big. It jammed trying to slide it in. Only got one inch inside the furnace frame. Gave up and bought red filters. 3M did not try to help when I sent a message.

This 600 won't remove half of what the 1,000 micron unit will and nowhere near a third of what the 1,900 micron filter will do. Your only choice here is to keep the house as clean as possible to reduce the load on the filter system itself (The cleaner the house.. shoes off in the mud room, dogs and cats brushed outside etc..) youll give this economy filter a fighting chance. It's defiantly a filter you'll have to change more often to keep the particulate mater being circulated down, but at $15 it's an affordable unit that won't break the bank every year just on filters as you certainly will if you were to swap out the 1,900 micron filter every two to three months. Regardless, if you keep the ductwork clean and keep a cleaner household, this economy filter can get the job done, and once a year you can splurge on the 1,900 micron during allergy season. This air filter captures more dust and lint that any I have ever used. Good for 90 days but because we have a dog inside, I sometimes change more frequently, however I don't really have to.

I bought the Clean Living Air Filter at a local store for the first time and could not have been more pleased. The quality is so superior to the other brand I was using.....you changed my mind about filters...thank you.

I buy 2 at a time every month or so. I actually use them on the outside of my air handler as an super extra filter for my ac. I have more than a couple of pets, and the hair and dust they kick up can be amazing, I tape these to the outside of the air handler closet and am consistently amazed at how much junk these filters pick up??
