Was looking for a new cd player for my granddaughter's room to play music for bed time. This player has a tray that pops out to put the cd in. The sound is very good, I was pleasantly surprised. You do need to read the instructions on how to play the cd's . for instance the standby button turns the player off and on and if you want to play a cd repeatedly you have to push the mode button to get it to the desired repeat function i.e. repeat random, repeat all, etc. Over all I am very happy with this player and would recommend it especially for the price it's a great player.

I purchased this for my 2-year-old daughter. She loves music, but I did not want to spend a lot on a stereo with a ton of features that she wouldn't need. This has almost all the features I was looking for. I would have liked if it had a remote and if it played MP3 disks, but I can completely overlook this due to what I got for my money. The design is perfect and it seems to be a rather durable stereo. I burned some CD-Rs and it plays them perfectly. I would recommend this to any parent for the value and the quality.

my 6 yr old daughter is thrilled with the radio/cd player. I like the fact that she can play burned cd-r/cd-rw. Not much luck getting any radio stations to tune in, but she uses it mostly for cd anyway - so not a huge issue. it was a great value for a first radio - perfect for a little girl.

I got this for my 5 year old daughter to plug her mp3 player into. Thought that the boom bix itself is dang cute. The quallity is not the best though. The sound quality is horrible. Sounds like it is under a pillow. Not impressed at all. The one she had before was just as cheap but sounded great. Wanted it really for the AUX plug in.

My 6 year old daughter loved it because it was "pink" and a very cool design. It is very easy for her to use and load her own cd's. This product was not available at my local store but the "Site to Store" was great since this was a Christmas present. It came in much earlier than expected.
