The NuFACE Hydrating Leave-On Gel Primer is appropriately named. You should use it as a primer and then take advantage of the ample hydration it gives your skin by massaging it into your skin after you are done reducing your fine lines and wrinkles. As a primer it improves the efficiency of your microcurrent device. As a lightweight gel it hydrates and protect against dehydration. WOW.

I really like this primer to use with my NuFace Trinity. Although there may be less expensive gels on the market (e.g., Amazon), the quality is lacking. I feel I get the most benefit when I stick with the NuFace primer, so I won't use anything else. I wash it off when I am finished, though, as I don't want to block the efficacy of other serums.

I personally like the gel primer and don't find it irritating to my skin. As someone with very sensitive and acne prone skin (including cystic acne), I was very impressed to find that this doesn't break me out. The only negative is that it is very expensive and you go through each bottle fast. It would be nice if this was a bit more affordable.

Sometimes it burns for some reason I’m not sure why. It could possibly be because I’ve started a retinol regimen and it effecting other things I put onto my skin. So yea other than that it’s all good and it don’t make me break out or anything like that.

Loving the gel leave on primer. My NuFace devices just glide over my face and it does feel wonderfully hydrating on my skin, which is especially dry in the fall and winter. Just as great is the pump dispenser. This is so convenient and easy to use.
