Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Treatment Masque 2 oz (Pack of 3)

I've tried several DC on my hair and this one is my favorite. Without fail, it gives my curls and waves life. Each time I use it, my hair looks fantastic. I was worried it might be a little too heavy for my fine hair, but that hasn't been a problem. I've been happily using it for 2 years and I will always reach for it before any other DC!

I have tried Shea Moisture products in the past, and my hair just didn't like their products. Now, I'm transitioning because I was relaxed throughout my childhood, and I would go to the salon and straighten my hair every three weeks which made my curls non-existent. I wanted to see what my curls actually looked like I had no idea what curl pattern I had. Even with the protein treatments I had no idea, I was skeptical on trying this mask because of my bad luck with them in the past. But, surprisingly, my hair absolutely loved this mask. I never knew I had 3c 4a hair until I used this mask. Not only did it define my curls, but instantly it moisturized them. I had impeccable shine and moisture. I loved the smell as it remained me of a chocolate scent. I definitely felt the pepper stimulating my scalp, once I rinsed it out my hair actually felt clean and moisturized a feeling I have never experienced before. The only issue I have with this mask is the scent is too strong, but it goes away eventually.

This masque has given me the best hair days I've ever had. My curls are moisturized and perfectly defined for up to three or four days after use. There's almost zero frizz. I use it with the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl&Style Milk and Frizz-Free Curl Mousse. This masque has made me feel so confident in wearing my hair down. it also smells amazing!

Perfect answer to my coarse, dry, slightly thinning hair at 65 and past the hormonal change...plus my heritage of Spanish and Russian hair....beautiful but coarse hair strands, all white gray, and now soft and gleaming. Terrific product! Need to stock my family and my RETAIL Store with it too! People love it and it's fragrance is just lovely. All natural and the peppermint in it keeps those scalp mites away which cause old age hair loss to a certain degree. Gotta keep that scalp clean (and hair) and the circulation healthy! This new formulation is horrible. Why did Shea moisture mess with the Original product? They should have just made a whole new product and leave the old one for those who actually liked and benefited from it. This formula does nothing for my hair. The original formula used to be my go to to put life in my hair but this new formula made my hair worse.
