The Adam Equipment Nimbus NBL-823e digital precision balance has a capacity of 8200 grams and a readability of 0.1 grams. These research-grade laboratory balances succeed the very successful PGW and PGL series and incorporate some of their advancements, like a solid metal base, but goes further by adding a weighing block crafted from a single block of metal. The extruded aluminum base gives the Adam Equipment Nimbus better thermal transfer and the solid metal core increases structural rigidity and stability. The new weighing mechanism (1mg models) is made from fewer parts than a traditional magnetic force restoration motor and provides faster performance and more durability. All Nimbus balances feature backlit LCD displays, sealed keypads and color-coded keys. These new digital precision balances offer a superior grade of performance and we sell them for less than anyone else. Designed for scientists, the Nimbus series of balances offers 15 models that deliver a full breadth of precision readabilities ranging from 0.1mg to 0.1g. Innovative design enables a reduction of the balance’s footprint, so it occupies less space but retains the highest level of performance. A single piece of extruded aluminum forms the balance base. The aluminum provides superior thermal transfer for a more regulated temperature, while the solid core is more rigid, offering greater stability and enabling highly repeatable results. The internal mechanism is fabricated using hardened materials, helping the Nimbus tolerate rigorous laboratory use. Crafted from a single block, the weighing sensor in the Nimbus contains fewer parts than a traditional force motor balance.
