I love this shoe. I say shoe, because I can only wear one shoe. Sketchers are the most comfortable for my foot. Some of the other shoes have given me blisters which have turned into all stars, but I have never had a single problem with sketchers except the sales people in the store will not let me get the shoes at half price since I can only wear the right shoe, my left foot will not fit into the shoe.
I'm hard to fit between narrow and medium and have to wear orthotic inserts as well so Skechers have been my go to for a long time. I need stability the older I get and feel secure in their no tie. Hands can't tie laces anymore. Sucks being me but at least I can still walk thanks to this brand.
As someone who has struggled with chronic foot pain and various related issues for years, finding truly comfortable footwear has been an endless quest. That quest, I'm thrilled to say, has largely ended with the discovery of Skechers Summits sneakers. These shoes aren't just comfortable; they've been a revelation in alleviating my foot issues and making daily life significantly more enjoyable. From the moment I slipped my feet into a pair of Skechers Summits, I understood what "walking on clouds" truly felt like. The Skechers Memory Foam™ cushioned comfort insole is a game-changer. It molds to the shape of your foot, providing a personalized cradle of softness that absorbs impact with every step. Whether I'm standing for extended periods, running errands, or enjoying a long walk, the plush cushioning keeps my feet feeling fresh and supported, preventing the fatigue and soreness that used to set in so quickly with other shoes. Beyond the initial "ahh" factor, the design of the Summits offers practical benefits for various foot ailments. For me, dealing with plantar fasciitis and a tendency towards general foot soreness, the cushioning has been instrumental. It helps to offload pressure from the heel and forefoot, reducing the strain on the plantar fascia and providing a much-needed buffer against hard surfaces. While Skechers offers other lines like Arch Fit specifically designed with podiatrist-certified arch support, many users, including myself, find that the Summits provide a moderate level of arch support which, combined with the generous cushioning, is often sufficient for daily wear and mild to moderate foot issues. The lightweight and flexible shock-absorbing midsole further contributes to the overall comfort. It allows for natural foot movement without feeling clunky or restrictive, which is crucial when your feet are already sensitive. The breathable mesh upper also ensures good ventilation, preventing my feet from overheating – a common problem that can exacerbate discomfort. One of the most appreciated features, particularly in the "Slip-ins" versions of Summits, is the easy on/off capability. For anyone with back pain or mobility issues, or simply those who value convenience, being able to slide into these shoes effortlessly is a major plus. The "Heel Pillow™" technology in the Slip-ins securely holds the foot in place without requiring bending or struggling with laces. While no shoe can be a universal cure-all, the Skechers Summits have genuinely transformed my experience with foot pain. They offer a remarkable blend of softness, support, and ease of wear that has made a noticeable difference in my daily comfort and ability to stay active. If you're searching for sneakers that prioritize comfort and can help mitigate common foot issues, the Skechers Summits are definitely worth trying. They've earned a permanent spot in my footwear rotation.
I would rate this product as a five as far as the way it's put together and how comfortable the shoe is but I was highly disappointed to find out that you could not just slide your foot in there and walk you had to put your fingers in there before the back of the shoe back out possibly having to use a shoehorn
