I finally had a chance to use this over the last week with all my little ones get sick one after the other. It's so easy to use and I love all the features. The flash light came in real handy while sneaking into the baby's room to check her out. I love that it has different options for taking temperature depending on what works for each person!!

I absolutely love that it has a light and talks to you by reading you the temp. It's seriously such a good innovated thermometer and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new thermometer to use for my kids (age 5 and 8) when I came across this infrared thermometer, the dualscan ultra pulse. I was looking for something accurate, quick, and not oral. I know oral temperatures are more accurate than the forehead ones, but my kids just don't sit still and don't put them under their tongues to use correctly anyway. I love that I can use this one on their ears or forehead, and that it has an instant reading. Not only that, but it reads the result for you so that you don't have to take your eyes off your child. One thing that I love more than any of those features though, is the pulse rate monitor. I didn't think I would use it, but it comes in handy to keep an eye on if they are heading towards getting dehydrated or not (if their pulse is too fast). The other feature I used more than I thought I would was the flashlight on it. I personally thought, why on earth would I need a flashlight on a thermometer, until said 5 year old said he thought something was stuck up his nose. I grabbed the thermometer that was laying on the counter and yup, sure was. A simple plug of the other nostril and blow and we were good and avoided going to the doctor. I love that it turns it self off, because I would never remember to do that. Oh, are you worried that your baby's room is too cool? Well when it isn't measuring your kid's temperature, it actively measure the room temperature. So many features that I wasn't expecting, and they are brilliant!

This scans temperature from the forehead or the ear canal quickly and easily. It can even read out the temperature in three languages! There's also a meter to measure pulse and an LED flashlight. The best feature is its accuracy. You get a lot in a little package.
