2-Bike Hitch Rack

I was a little worried about the quality of this bike rack as the price was very low. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this rack was made. Used it for the first time yesterday. It was easy to install on my pickup. The bolt that holds it in the receiver has a safety clip on it in the eventuality the bolt would ever loosen. It has a convenient way to lock your bikes to the rack with a cable.

First time we used Bike Rack was a 1,600 mile round trip from Atlanta to the Outer Banks of NC. Product worked great with no problems. I recommend tightly securing bikes with bungee cords so they don't move around. Don't allow anything made of plastic like a wheel reflector to be in direct line of car exhaust pipe. We learned that car exhaust will melt plastic.

Love it! Works just great! Wish it came with a lock pin to make sure no one steals it but other than that it's just right! Can't seem, to find one anywhere and Walmart doesn't carry one for it but figured out you can just put a short bike cable lock through the hitch loop and bike rack loop if your hitch has one of those loops. Can't really make it out in my photo.

Great price. Does the job very adequately. Was concerned about the velcro, but works fine. If I were going on a very long trip, prob would use an addistion strap. I was caught by surprise by the bolt for the hitch. It has to be screwed in. Very secure, but was not expecting that. Requires a 3/4" wrench. Good product, sturdy, yet light.

It is stable except when off road. The rubber grips were bikes are held it slides either forward or backward. It is to unload and load the bikes on the rack. I would have like a stronger safe pin. It doesn't come off easy off curse. It still does protect. I can't complain the overall value is great for $60.00. We are recreational bike riders.
