Seems like they've improved this meter over the years. It used to error out a lot. My daughter lost hers at the airport so I bought this one. Would be nice yo have the finger pricker with it, have to buy that separately. And just be careful to get the right strips with it.

The Walmart Relion Premier classic blood glucose monitoring system gives me accurate reading on my blood sugars .Its very reliable. I've been using Walmart meters for a lot of years now .I came down with diabetes a long time ago and have used high priced meters and they don't work any better then this one. I highly recommend Relion meters.

TERRIBLE!! This glucose monitor is worthless. The readings are all over the place and always inaccurate. I tested myself at the doctor's office and it read 205. 205!! They tested me there in the examining room and it was 130 (after eating. ) Do not buy this thing. Having Diabetes is stressful enough without dealing with inaccurate readings. Also, the test strips are a real P.I.T.A. I liked the old Prime meter and strips much better. At least they were in line with the readings I got at the Dr.'s office and lab.

These things are such junk and a waste of money, every single reading gives you an error message, when you have to do 10 finger pokes and maybe if your lucky get a reading it is useless. Go with any other brand such a waste of money and time, I have had 2 reli on monitors and both are trash
