Whirlpool - 19.7 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a 6 weeks ago. I had a small space but wanted a full refrigerator. This fit perfectly and offers a pretty roomy interior. I love the freezer on the bottom. I also like the drawers included, particularly the wide one. I was afraid it would be big enough to hold everything I wanted, but it is a lot roomier than I thought. It isn't silent but it is MUCH quieter than my previous fridge -- I rarely notice it. The look and exterior finish are also great -- I don't see a lot of finger smudges, it stays clean and shiny. I'm very pleased. Would I have loved to have a larger fridge? Yes. But this comes really close to providing everything I wanted in a larger model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator to replace a 7-year-old Maytag french door refrigerator that I loved but, unfortunately, the door was failing and a replacement door was unavailable. This Whirlpool is almost identical in its' size. layout and attributes so I knew I would love it and that is the main reason I chose it. There's a problem, however, the factory installed icemaker isn't making any ice. I have had a technician here and still no ice. The Maytag was making ice until the day it was replaced so it's not the plumbing and Whirlpool provides no guidance for troubleshooting. I am very disappointed and hope that this issue can be resolved soon. My confidence in Whirlpool reliability is shaken.
