GE GDT665SSNSS 46 dBA Stainless Steel Top Control Built-In Dishwasher

I am highly upset at this product. Not even 2 years in and it's already leaking from the bottom corner. For the price of this item you would think it would be better quality.

Dishwasher works great, quality of GE dishwasher especially at this price is terrible. Chrome trim peace is of. I guess this is a known issue on these models.

One aspect I absolutely love about this dishwasher is how incredibly quiet it is. In fact, it's so quiet that people frequently open it while it's running because they don't realize it's in operation. With a newborn at home, having loud appliances is a big no-no, so this dishwasher really meets our needs. It does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes, especially when we use an eco-friendly tab along with the suggested blue dishwasher soap (I can't recall its name). However, there is one annoying issue: in the back row of plates, we can adjust the angle of the bar, but one of the angles keeps popping out of place, causing the plates to fall. It might be a problem specific to our unit, but it's still frustrating.

Out of the gate, trim was always lose. Looks like it was built cheaply. 3 years of use, it really does not clean well, and dishes are rinsed clean before going into the dishwasher to be sanitized. Now, heating element has stopped working, looking for cost to replace it. Find they discontinued this model (wonder why…) and do I continue to live with it or find a better one. Stuck with GE as I have all matching appliances. Just for note, the only appliance I am happy with is the hood over the stove. That works great.

With less than hundred run cycles, getting FTD (Failure to Drain) error. Didn't expect this quality from GE. Now will think twice before buying GE products.
