GE® 7.8 cu. ft. Capacity Smart Front Load Gas Dryer with Steam and Sanitize Cycle

I've only had this for a few weeks, but so far loving it and have had no issues. Not sure I will use the WiFi app option at any level, but nice that it is there. The only thing I wish came with it standard is the dryer rack. I ordered the one online that stated it went with this model, but it doesn't look sturdy on the website and the very few review that there are indicate the bottom feet rub against the dryer. I haven't received that yet so can't comment.

Good dryer. I don't like about it is the lint trap. It is not easy to clean and it doesn't seem to collect all the lint as some flows through it into the housing which will eventually end up in the exhaust. I also noticed that there was a lot of debris left at the bottom of the lint trap housing. I do like the settings available and it seems to dry clothes well. It not loud which is also nice. I went with GE because they have a long standing reputation for quality products

I'm happy with the dryer dry as well and quickly. I haven't used the steam feature yet. The only problem I have is actually with the pedestal. I've had it replaced once and it's been looked at twice. I know I don't overload it and it should be able to handle several bottles of detergent. The only other thing is I wish this size machine came in blue.

Bought this to replace a 20 year old GE Profile gas dryer, which was working wonderfully but physically falling apart. I was looking to go from a top load to a front load set and did a large amount of research on the washer and dryers in multiple pairs and am very happy. The sensor dry works seamlessly every time, there are plenty of adjustments to make sure everything comes out dry. Most of the time, I leave it on Washer Link, and it only takes about 30 minutes to dry a large load. Very happy! Would recommend to anyone.

So far so good. This replaced an almost 20 year old dryer. Many more features (still learning them). Way more capacity than our old dryer as well. Wasn't sure I would like the wifi option, but it is nice getting notifications when your load is nearing the end of the cycle. You can also extend the drying time from your phone! Not your mother's dryer...
