Henckels Graphite 13-pc Knife Block Set - Black

Tarnished after two weeks. J.A. Henckel will not honor the warranty if you purchased from an unauthorized dealer. I wasnt aboe to register this product with them.

This product is an excellent budget knife set by a reputable brand. There are many products in this price available online but should something fail have no company to back them whereas with Henckels I know I can trust them to stand by their product. This knife set is everything I had hoped it to be and the recipient of this gift thought it was a much more expensive set then it was due to the quality of the knives.

So far so good. Purchased this as a gift for my mother. She's happy to have a new set of sharp and stylish knives. She's raved about them so much that my sister and I are thinking of ordering a set for our kitchens. Transparency: It's only been 3 weeks. I'll keep you all posted. Hopefully the "newness" of them doesn't wear/ware off ;-)

The only thing I'm not jazzed about is the storage block is a dark color, but I love these knives otherwise. I had a somewhat expensive set before and the handles started to randomly fall off after a few years and the blades chipped for no reason at all. The handles won't fall off of these! These knives are one piece of metal. I wasn't sure I'd like the feel of metal handles, but these are round and substantial and not slippery at all. I trust this brand and I got an exceptional price so I'm completely happy with this purchase. In fact, the money I saved on this knife set more than covered the cost of my Sam's membership. It's the first time I've had a Sam's membership and these knives were the first of many reasons why I'm loving it!

I love this knife set but you must make sure you have space for it on your counter, it's really big. Even though I measured my countertop and thought I had the perfect spot for it, it was just too big for my taste. Sadly, I returned it for that reason. Lesson learned. The knives were lightweight and had a nice ergonomic grip. I never used this set but seemed super sharp. In the end I bought a more compact set with fewer knives.
