Straight Talk ZTE STRATOS Android Prepaid Smartphone

I bought a Stratos in March and by June, it had the white screen. Straight talk had me send the phone to them before they would send a replacement. 2 weeks went by before I got a new one because they were out of stock. Finally got the replacement and guess what??!!! WHITE SCREEN AGAIN!!! I will never buy another ZTE phone again. Wasted money. I even offered to pay the difference on another phone, but was told it had to be the same model. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing this phone. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

This phone worked for me for the first 2 months and then it started giving me the bright white screen. The phone locks up constantly. When I plug it up now it won't charge at all and I'm down to 19% battery and it's giving me the white screen constantly I can't get the screen to clear out I can't get the phone to do anything I deleted all the apps and everything and it still says that my system storage is running out. This phone is horrible. I would never buy another one like this. I have no idea what I'm going to do for a phone now. It's only been a couple of months so I'm not sure if it's still under warranty and even if it is I don't know who to send it to or what to do.

I bought this phone thru walmart.com in May of this year. Starting in September, I began to get a white screen when I turned the phone on. After several clicks of the power button, the screen would come up, but by October, the screen stayed white and I lost complete use of this phone. As I began to look into returning the phone, I find out that there is only a 90 day return policy. I then discovered that many other purchasers of this phone are experiencing the same problem. I think since this is obviously a manufacturing problem, we should be able to return the phone for some type of replacement. Very disappointed and would NOT recommend this phone to any body.

I purchased 4 of these phones for my family between May and June of this year. So far 2 of them have the white screen and the other two are trying to turn white as well. When the first phone turned white I had to go around and round with Net10 to exchange the phone as they have a one year warranty. First I had to wait for them to ship me an envelope to mail the phone to them in, then ship them the phone, then wait for them to ship me a new phone....I had no phone for almost two weeks that I had paid for minutes on! Then when they did replace the phone it was with a different brand that was half the price of what I paid for the stratos, smaller and completely inferior. It barely works! This seems to be a problem across the board with these phones and they should have been recalled and refunds given. I wont even bother trying to warranty the second phone that just turned white this morning I will be purchasing a new phone through a different company! ZERO STARS!!!

I didnt have the ZTE model Z819L not even three months and its worthless total white screen, can't even turn it off because nothing else will show up. I thought i was getn a good deal,ha! Now i know why they were on sale. What a ripoff, ninety bucks for the phone then 45.00 for time added. I live on a limited income and cant go out and always buy a phone. I now have a 20 buck LG that i dropped in the river 3 mo. ago and its still working.
