Very east to set up and understand. I love that there are options for different attachments. You can cut so many different things with this. Im excited to see what projects I can come up with!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Brother Scan N Cut with no idea what to do with it. I was so excited when I opened the box to see what I had gotten. After some much needed research and watching how to videos, I have learned that I have a very creative side that has been hidden. This machine can do so much in a short amount of time. My kids are excited to use it as well with supervision. They love making birthday cards for family members and labels for their cups at school. It has an abundance of options. My husband is even excited about this product that we have even bought extra accessories to keep on using it.

I made the first project, the little paper box. I was fascinated watching it cut the shape. My grandson was also fascinated when I let him pick a pattern and have it cut out of card stock for him. I have cut a few things out of felt also. Next I want to try to make an appliqué out of fabric for a sewing project. I just have to experiment with different fabrics. I can't wait to try out all the features of this machine.

It's really easy to put together what you want. It comes with a cutting blade and a mat that is slightly sticky to hold your paper or vinyl. It has clear instructions on everything you need to know. It is quiet and runs smooth. It's well made and very good quality. Can't wait to do more projects with this!

When I first open the product there was some card stock in there for me to create some thing so I can get a feel for how the machine worked. After that I just cited to get some final to try to make some stickers that people can put on cups are on the back of their vehicle if they wished. It is easy to use and easy to figure out.
