Digital Game Watcher 4.0 Mp

I bought this camera for my husband for his Christmas surprise! He absolutely loves it, well actually I don't know who enjoys it more, me or him! It takes great pictures in the middle of the night! I have already asked for one for my Valentine's gift!! If you want a camera to start monitoring your land then this is the one to get! We LOVE it!! You can't go wrong with the price nor the product! Go get you one before they get gone again!

I bought this camera at my local Walmart stor to upgrade from a 35mm camera I have had for years. I placed the camea in the same spots I used the 35mm at. I got some pictures with deer, but nowhere near the percentage as the 35mm. The picture quality was what was very disappointing. The images were not clear enough to be able to count the points on a bucks antlers or sometimes barely able to distinguish that it was a buck. I Emailed Moultrie with no responce. I called customer service and discribed the problem and they agreed that there was a problem. They said I could exchange it at Walmart or send it in for repair. Since I waited so long for a Email responce before I called, the cameras were out of stock. I sent the camera at my own cost to Moultrie in the original packaging with all the cables, straps, instructions. I just got the camera back and they said nothing was wrong with it and then did not send anything back but the camera. I may have just gotten a lemon, but if Moultrie will not stand behind their products and their warrenty you are taking a risk buying one.

This is the best money we have spent in years on any hunting product. We were not sure what was eating the feed but now we know for sure. Day and night bothe take great pictures. The flash does not seem to bother them at all they look and then continue on feeding.

Works great - the range of the flash is somewhat limited so good placement on the trail is important. The detector noise is a little high in low light conditions but if the game is fairly close in at night (around 20 - 30 feet) you get really good images. Battery life has been really good.... I've had the unit out for about 3 weeks now in fairly cold temps and the life is down to about 70%

This is my first cam and I must say it is a very nice one. Easy to use and easy to setup. The picture clarity is great. I really like being able to install an SD card, makes getting the pictures so much easier. Just trade out the card for another and you don't have to move the camera. Cons: A little slow on waking up and taking a picture. It's case is plastic and would be easy to break the lock off. There is no way to lock it to whatever you are mounting it too, just has two little bungee cords. Use name band SD cards as most generic ones will not work.
