It does not track steps accurately on a treadmill. There must either be a fix or let users manually update. The app is very confusing, but I hear it's getting an upgrade. There should be the ability to track intermittent fasting on the app. It's not hard, basically a glorified timer with reminders, but I have to get a separate app to do that.
After lots of research and debate, I switched from a Garmin fenix 5s to the combo of a Lily and Forerunner 255s. The Lily is my everyday watch when I'm not working out. I looks professional and is super light on my wrist. But it still tracks all the things I need day to day, and I can even have it track a quick bit of exercise if it comes up unexpectedly or I don't have the FR255 with me. I was able to find additional bands online and change up the look, too.
I wanted a small profile device with steps, sleep and heart rate and this filled the bill…but I could not get it connected to my iphone 11 and the Garmin Connect app. I walked through all the troubleshooting but could not get it to work, so I returned it.
I bought the Lily to replace my Vivomove HR. I liked the features of the Vivomove, but I have tiny wrists and it was too big/heavy for me. The Lily is perfect! The leather band fits my wrist perfectly (which never happens). It is lightweight, attractive, and helpful. The only thing I wished the Garmin Connect App did better is give me more control over what kind of notifications get pushed to it. I have several messaging apps, but they don't seem to correlate to "text messages", only the Messages app does. So, I have to allow ALL notifications, just to get the ones I want. Not great. It would be nice to have a more granular control over what comes my way.
I have been thinking about this purchase for a while and I am glad that I did. It doesn't look like a smart watch, which I think look clunky. The only drawback that I can find is that the number of activities to record your exercises is limited. No yoga function.
