I bought the bowflex to help me hopefully gain strength as we get older of course we lose our strength if we don't put it to use. Im 54 work 13/16 hours 3/4 days a week so when i get home i don't want to do a full 30min to and hour routine. With the bowflex i can do 5-10 min early in the morning and get it done and I feel great afterwards.
This machine is great because it's quiet and effective. I can use it manually or the fitness program bowflex provides. The program is more motivating. Either way it's a great machine to get your heart pumping and joints moving. It's a whole body workout. Stretch and go, makes working out less stressful. It is heavy but sturdy.
I have been using this product everyday . I cannot lie it isn't what I expected its more of a stepper then an elliptical however im hoping I get used to it, Its definitely a little uncomfortable utilizing however im just hoping I get used to it and I start seeing results soon..
#sweepstakes The actual exercise portion (mechanics) of the M9 works just fine and is sturdy. - but the console is extremely frustrating. If it gets disconnected or can't get internet that I can't workout. That is EXTREMELY frustrating and pretty much makes it worthless and I would not have purchased had I known this. - The actual console NEVER turns off. it stays on 24/7. I have to either unplug the power cord or manually click "logout". which is also extremely frustrating, because then everytime I want to use it, I have to enter my full email and password to use the darn thing.
I use this product five days a week. I ordered it early in March and had it within a week. Took me a couple of hours to set up myself and that wasn't hard. When I set it up, I got an error immediately showing the screen couldn't detect the Base Serial Number. I called Support and they said it needed new parts and a tech to come repair it. The parts (just cable replacements) came within a week, but the service call was scheduled out for 2 1/2 weeks later. I called after a week and was able to get a tech to come out late at night because I was tired of waiting. The tech took it apart and put the new cables in (he kept groaning loudly, rudely asked me if I was going to watch him work the whole time), and said it was giving me the same error. So he contacted HQ and let them know. He had NO Diagnostic tools and couldn't tell me what the issue was. He also replaced a computer component by unplugged the cables, ziptieing the new one over the old one, and plugging in the cables, instead of removing it. I called support the next day to hear back and they said it needed a new console. That was delivered within 3 days. I replaced it myself, and I STILL GOT THE SAME ERROR. My boyfriend is a certified engineer, so he helped me take it apart. We had to strip it down, and found that a cable that was connected at the factory (something that came put together in the base) had bent pins. He straightened them out and my machine started working right away. This whole process took almost a month before I could use it. I still haven't received my Bowflex Credit Card I used to buy this, and my first payment is going to be due within this week.
