Marshall - Emberton Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Cream

I love the look and feel of the speaker, however mine has started to have scratchy sounds when playing music with heavy low bass. It's started to become more and more noticeable with any kind of music. I am disappointed because the brand and price promised a quality product, however I got more use (years) out of my last portable speaker, a refurbished beats pill.

The most important feature I look for in any speaker is sound quality. The Marshall Emberton provides you with excellent sound quality. There is great balance between the high, midrange and low frequency. I listen to Smooth Jazz, R&B and Pop music and the sound quality is excellent across all genres. This compact speaker may be small but it fills my bedroom with great sound quality. I love it more than my UE Megaboom which I have been using for a couple of years now. This is one of the best purchases I made in 2021.

Emberton is an excellent small speaker with clear and very pleasing sound. Small enough to take it everywhere with you, but at the same time with a very solid build and solid feeling in your hands. Amazing sound if not pushed to the extremes, very good battery life. I like the manual controls too, the design, the colours (mine is black with brass). I would definitely recommend it!

I was surprised by how tiny it is. Long battery time and good sound. I found two things I didn't like, 1. The charging port doesn't grab the cable(could be the cable). so when it was charging, the cable would slip out if the speaker was moved. 2. The speaker can't handle max volume when paired to my iPhone, not that it need to be at max, it's still loud enough, but if i were to go higher than 2/3 i can hear it struggling and it feels like I'm gonna break it.

The Emberton delivers amazing sound fidelity in a premium build and design at a very reasonable price. USB-C is the new norm and certainly handy especially if you prefer to use just one cable across all devices. I was sceptical before purchasing this as its a new launch and didnt have many reviews but once I used it I've been left in awe and this will be a contender for the best speaker in its class in the coming years.
