With no visible hardware, and only simple wood pull handles, the solid Rubberwood top, is simple and uncomplex. The Banting Desk has two working side drawers with ball bearing drawer glides and one centre flip down drawer/keyboard tray to maximize functionality. Overall, this is a solid desk with pretty dark walnut colors. It came packaged very well so there was no scratches or anything. The only con was that the metal base holes did not match completely with the top desk part, that there was no way to secure the two thoroughly. I can still use it but it wobbles and shakes. I still give 4 stars as I think I just got a defective item based on other great reviews.
