233- Threadcount Puffball Fiber Mattress Pad, King

I ordered this instead of the featherbed I originally wanted because I'd never tried a fiber bed before and it was more affordable. I wish I'd gotten the featherbed because this just doesn't feel the same. Where a featherbed sinks in and gives you that really soft cushy feel, this is more of a firm support bed pad. You're not going to sink in and it's not going to conform to your body shape in any way. This would still make a great thick mattress pad for a too-firm or cheap mattress and definitely improve the comfort, but it's not comparable to a featherbed by any means. It's a good price and it does hold up well over time for what it is. We've had it over a year now, using it every night on our bed and it still looks and feels the same as it did on day 1.

I purchased this queen size fiberbed on 8-11-2009. I was very happy the first 4 days and then it lost it's support. Each week I take it off the bed and try to refluff it. That works for 2 or 3 days and then it goes flat again. I would not recommend this fiber bed. However, I would purchase the microgel puffball fiberbed and purchase a good 2" memory foam pad to add extra support. I'm really sorry I didn't buy the microgel product. I would say - don't bother to buy this product. Waste of money.

I'm sure it was just a bad one because i can see how this could have been comfortable...but it is flat in a lot of places and you cant move well while laying in it, meaning if you find a good spot, you have to stay there all night, you can't roll around....i'm taking it back...

I was looking for something that would "renew" an old mattress. This added a little more softness, but after a few weeks of usage, you can tell where someone has slept. It could be thicker and firmer. Another downside is the pad moves around under the sheets, so it has to be repositioned from time to time. If you are looking for a mattress pad, this would fit the bill, if you are looking for something to "renew" an old mattress, this probably isn't the product to buy.

I have had many down feather beds, and they have been very costly. This is a perfect replacement, very fluffy and comfortable, comes vacuum packed and once opened, really fluffed up! the stitching keeps the filling in place. It is also the perfect size for a full (double) bed, and fit very nicely within the fitted sheet. Am very pleased with the product.
