Fiskars Sewing Essentials Set (6pc), Orange, 6 Count

I have been wanting to make some homemade masks for my family but I didn't have any sewing supplies. This kit is great because it has everything you would need. The scissors are a nice quality and easily cut through the fabrics I used. The seam ripper came in very handy to easily undo my mistakes. I also really like that it has both the ruler type measuring tool and a tape. It made measuring everything a breeze. When I was done I was able to get rid of stray strings with the snips. I would definitely recommend this kit for those starting out who don't have any sewing tools!

This is a great sewing 'tool' set for a beginner or intermediate seamstress or tailor. The quality of the product is great. They feel pretty sturdy. I like the bright color as it's easy to identify it among most fabric. Its stands out. The scissors and nipper is pretty sharp and cuts easily without any force. Th tape measure is not as flimsy as the one that ì currently have. Overall is a great sewing setting that I'm finding very useful.

I love this set, it comes with the basics you need, scissors, snips, seam ripper, slide ruler acrylic ruler and a tape ruler. The snips and scissors are sharp and work very well. Everything is so handy and is of good quality and I'm excited to build to this collection. I would recommend it to anyone, beginning to see or advanced sewers, or just to have around the house.

I absolutely love all of the items in this sewing essentials set. I especially LOVE the fabric scissors. They glide like a hot knife through butter. I just cut fleece for a blanket, and have never had such an easy time cutting a straight cut of fabric. I was very disappointed to have the package arrive with the large plastic see-through ruler broken. I taped it with packaging tape to maintain the see-through quality, and it works fine, but it is disappointing. I don't know if I would blame the packaging or the shipping, but it is disappointing. The remainder of the tools are great and very functional. I really like them. It would be a great beginning kit for someone who is starting to sew, to quilt, or even to craft. It's a great set of basic tools that I would definitely buy for someone just beginning to craft. My only negative is that the ruler arrived broken. Otherwise, the tools are very nice in quality and I will use them again and again.

I have really enjoyed using my Fiskar sewing set. Everything thing is conveniently available in one handy place. The snips are easy to use and convenient for getting those little threads. The seam ripper is larger than my previous one, but it is comfortable to use and does a great job of helping me correct mistakes in my stitches. The large ruler happened to have a crack in the middle about 6 inches long from the .5 to 7 inch mark. However it has not affected the quality or use of the ruler as it is in the interior of the ruler and not along the edge. The seam guage is larger than my previous one, and I think I am going to like this size better.
