If you use both functions at once it requires a little practice not to get water on your arm but you get better with practice. I like being able to do both at once though. It takes less time than doing each separately. My dentist says I have to floss each day even with this device so sometimes I just use the brushing part.

Excellent teeth cleaning tool, very convenient. I love it, wish I had one the entire time I've had teeth. My son has one and loves it too. Excellent adaptation for his fine motor skill difficulties. The battery did wear out earlier than expected, but they replaced the machine right away when I complained. - 1 star because battery is not replaceable and it is wasteful for the whole unit to be a disposable when that goes. After one use of the water pick and flosserI I could immediately notice how much cleaner my teeth felt. After using a month and going for a dental cleaning my hygienist was amazed how little stain there was and how good my gums looked. I end up using the flosser morning and evening and never would have believed I would look forward to dental care. I use warm water for the flosser and it's like a massage to my mouth. Can't say enough about this. It is expensive but well worth the investment and that's how you need to look at it...as an investment

It is cheap made and the toothbrush is so soft you can't tell your brushing your teeth. I returned it!!

I like the concept but the actual product is garbage. I'm on my 2nd replacement and the toothbrush attachment does not work well, the water tank is poorly designed, and does not fit well. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.
