25" Swivel Barstool With Back

The bar stool is well made and is holding up, so far. The quality is the same as furniture store bar stools costing twice as much. The good is; you can't beat the price for an everyday stool. The bad is: you might have to return a couple of chairs because of shipping damages or quality issues.

We had trouble finding any kitchen counter height chairs we liked much less could afford. These chairs are very solid, swivel all the way around, and have a great finish (easy to wash). Although they are supposed to be oak, the color complements our natural cherry wood cabinets (a rich honey color) well. We bought three of them almost 4 years ago and bought another one recently --the new and old match perfectly and the price did not change over the years. We tried hard to find a chair that would match the style of our kitchen a little better, even though we would have had to pay easily 3 or 5 times as much and could not. Two things to note: 1) the color is really a honey color, a little darker and with not much grain, and 2) there are no sliders on the feet. Since the wood is very hard, tapping the feet (easily available at Walmart or a hardware store) in can be a bit of a challenge. But if you want a kitchen height chair with a back that swivels and is very easy to keep clean, you can't beat this one.

I brought 2 of these last week. First, they arrived waaay ahead of schedule. So A+ for Walmart shipping. If u follow the instructions right, these will be a breeze to put together. I like the wood look n feel. They seats are slippery, just to let u know. It is kind of diffucult to turn base to install screws. I would advise using something to protect your hands while turning. But once it loosens up its fine.

These stools were very easy to put together. I was so glad to find barstools that almost exactly matched my dining chairs without having to pay the price to have them special ordered from somewhere esle. I like that they have a sturdy back and that they swivel, so that my children can easily get in and out of them. My children fight over whose turn it is to sit in them. They are very sturdy, so I don't worry about my 4 year old tipping the stools over. The only thing we didn't like is that they were very dirty when we got them. They had glue on the legs. And there was grime all over them. But we just cleaned them of and they were fine.

It took ordering these 4 times to get 3 that were somewhat acceptable & not damaged. I finally ordered 6 (returned 3) to pick the best ones. These are very low quality-glue all over, scratches, one came in broken in half. Boxes were not damaged so product was boxed & shipped in this condition. Make sure you order twice the amount you need so you can return the worst ones!! If you have the time & the patience to deal with it, I guess its a good buy. (You get what you pay for)
