With cameras that feature alarms, I was suprised you couldn't have the sensors trigger them.

Purchased in Dec 2023, waited a year to review to get the full experience. Verdict: a completely worthless product. There is no motion sensitivity setting, so it detects minor motions (like a fly or a tic), major motions or it sets off a notification with no movement at all. Result is over 35 notifications daily, usually even more (it's supposed to detect at a max 15 meters, but it actually detects at over 125 feet). One week it kicked off 550 notifications, and there had not been a single movement. All this does is clog your phone with notifications and wears out the unit's battery. Purchased to pair with an out-of-range motion event camera. Live and learn.

Q: how do I delete Mobil notifications or activity log alerts?

Never got unit to work. It is a very neat item, small, looks very high quality, but after 5 hours and talking to both Swann (Australia) and my internet provider, I found that it will not work with a dual frequency 2.4 and 5G WiFi modem. Note also that the 2.4G only Wifi requirement applies to all their cameras as well. If you only have a single frequency 2.4GHz WiFi this appears to be a really neat device. Also note, if you follow the instructions to install the batteries and then reinstall the cover, you will only have to remove it later. To set up the connection it tells you to scan the 2 dimensional bar code on the unit. You have to go to the Swann site and do research to find that the bar code is actually on the inside of the battery cover. Noticed the price continues to drop from $24.99 to the $13.80 I paid and now the day after I received the unit it has been reduced to $9.99. If you only have 2.4G Wifi, this appears to be a nice device. However, if you upgrade to a modern dual frequency modem in the future, it would no longer function. Sad I could not get it to work.

This sensor is ok. But it is far too sensitive for external use, which you can't change despite the app suggesting you should be able to. I find the rain triggers the sensor which therefore makes it useless as a notification device.
