We've had our copper spur HV UL4 for a few years and we like it for it's interior size, ease of setup and lightweight, but you never know if you love a tent until after your first real storm in the tent. A pretty bad thunderstorm came up (who knew the weather forecast could be inaccurate) and the tent weathered the storm admirably and we were completely dry
Good as per my expectation. I was looking for something to keep things thigh while riding long days on the saddle. They seem to loosen up after 4-5 hours and does not offer the support I was looking for those long distance travelled. overall great boxer, maybe not for cycling.
For a Sneaker that is supposedly made in the USA it leaves shall we say a whole lot of something to be desired poor workmanship, definitely not true to it's name ( stability Walker) I would say it's the unstability Walker. The first pair as soon as I pulled the strings one of the eyelets came right out on the left hand side of the left sneaker I figured accidents happen will give it another try I ordered another pair human being but I noticed if I go to pool and use any strengths whatsoever the same thing will happen not to mention it's very uncomfortable when walking I expected more much more from a sneaker made in the USA. We'll never try them again not worth my time. John Stapinski....
I took this tent out in early spring conditions (0 degrees Celsius overnight). Poles are colour-coded, which made sorting them out effortless. I did struggle a little with the footbox area as I needed to find rocks to stake them out, seeing as I was on an outcrop. Was easily able to fit a regular wide pad inside. No issues with condensation in the tent, and the condensation that formed overnight on the outside dried very quickly in the sun. Looking forward to my next adventure with it.
Very disappointed in this tent. This is actually my second tent from big Agnes as my first one did not hold up to normal backcountry elements. This tent broke the very first time I went to use it. It also didn't rain once but the material soaks up so much condensation and morning dew that the fly sagged every morning and touched the mesh inside and dripped water all over me and my sleeping bag. It didn't matter how tightly I had the fly staked out. And this is with no rain… I'm terrified to use it. I always thought of Big Agnes as the be all end all in technical gear but after two failed tents I'm taking my money elsewhere especially since they are only willing to fix the broken piece on my tent and not refund me.
