Teva Tirra Blue Multi Outdoor Water Sandal | 4266-BLMU

For about the last 20 years my sandal of choice has always been tevas. Unfortunately, the style I have been buying is no longer an option. So I tried these. I took a short, easy walk with them and less than a mile is I started to get blisters on the back of my foot. They're also very uncomfortable around the ankle where the strap is. Teva has been a great brand for me for a very long time but now that they've stopped making my sandal style that I know works for my foot I guess I'll have to find a new brand or make sure to find teva out in a brick and mortar store and try them on before buying.

I love the look of this sandal and its practicality. However, I wore them for an extended time, 10 hours, to a family bbq. The back foot strap was so uncomfortable rubbing and irritating my skin even though not tightened. My feet were too narrow for the sandal so was not able to tighten front straps to secure foot. Velcro just hung off sandal as it was as tight as I was able to make them. I would like to return them if possible, kindly advise. I did not see that they were available in a narrow fit. Thank you.

I really wanted a good sandal for long beach walks, aside from my Teva flip-flops. This one looks great, and fits well except for a contoured ridge that hits right at the ball of my feet. I even ordered a half size larger to compare, but that didn't help. I really like this sandal and wanted it to work.

The fit and comfort are always great, I've taken them all over the world and they work equally well with a dress or skirt for casual dining out, or for protecting my feet on a hike when wading through shallow streams, or through ocean tide pools or beach sands. They are comfortable to walk in for a significant distance.

I have very narrow, arthritic, flat feet with bunions and hammer toes. These sandals accomodate these shortcomings with a molded footbed, open toes, and adjustable velcro straps. Considering my foot conditions, these are great sandals for walking along beaches, kayaking, or throwing on a casual dress...
