The original gold gels have been my fuel of choice since migrating from different companies, unable to find an gel that gave me the needed energy without destroying my stomach. Found out about honey stinger in 2016, and was hooked after using it for a training run. These are hands down the best out there.

These are definitely my favorite energy gels to use. They have a great taste and no water is needed! Perfect for the longer runs when you need to add a little energy to sustain. I've tried others, but nothing is as smooth and natural tasting as the Honey Stinger Gold!

I first had the gels during a half marathon, and I loved them. When I decided to tackle my first marathon, these gels were what got me through all my long (and some short) runs. Whether you're training for a short or long race, I highly recommend investing in these!

I used to do the gummy blocks style energy but chewing anything while huffing and puffing is difficult so gels really helped in this regard. I tried my best to think "any improvement in how I feel is just placebo"; but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get myself to not feel re-energized about 5-10 minutes after ingesting this haha. They work, they work well.
