Verizon Wireless Motorola Moto G Play 16GB Prepaid Smartphone, Black

It has good storage (16GB) and a pretty decent camera for a $50 phone. So it does the job. I switched from an LG Transpyre to this. This has more storage, a larger screen, and a much better camera. This MotoG overheats when playing games like Angry Birds. After 20 minutes or so, it overheats and shuts down. I get around that by putting it on an gel cold pack, but that only works if I'm close to my freezer. It also charges really slowly. I've never had a phone that takes so long to charge.

I like this phone it's a bargain for the price. Great battery and so far has worked flawlessly. The only thing that bothers me is that it's supplied to Motorola by Lenovo. This company has been caught on occasion adding spyware to their products. Most notably PC's ("Superfish") but also the possibility ("ADUPS") software for ANDROID. In all fairness they are not alone, however they have been listed on sites that I have read. Whether or not Motorola or Verizon monitor this I don't know. There are remedies. Just a FYI.

So happy I found this phone. I had a first generation Moto G that I loved, but it just didn't have enough storage, so I switched in August 2016 to a more expensive phone, but had so much trouble that I bought this phone less than a year later. It is a full-featured, well thought out phone. 16 GB internal storage with the option to add up to 128 GB through a micro-SD card. Great tactile feedback. Inexpensive cases available for it online. Very good battery life so far, and the camera takes great pictures. Very happy with this phone.

This is only my second smart phone but I listened to what people said about it in the reviews and bought one. It's a pretty good phone. I had a MOTO E before this and based on the reviews I bought this one. For the price you pay it's a pretty good phone. If you're willing to wait a few days, go ahead and buy it online because you will get a better price than what you get in the store.

This is an absolutely great phone and for a simply amazing price. The 16G memory is just what I needed for the apps I use. The only issue I found was that Moto stock software does not provide text notifications on the icon, as did my LG phone. However, I loaded a free home page Launcher which provides notifications and everything is working great. Delivery was very quick too.
