Beef Stew Meat, Tray, Family Pack, Fresh, 1.75 - 2.25 lb

i liked the meat in this order. but the order after that on 6/31 was terrible. i didnt reveice 6 items in my order. who makes such mistakes. items dont get received till days late. something a simple as a box of salt. if a grocery such a walmart does have a box of salt on their self something in wrong. to think im paying over 14.00 dollars a month for such service.

It is what it says it is. They do try to make money off of you by chopping up some fatty pieces too but I have a hard time cutting meat so it's worth it to me. I usually trim it a bit more and make all the pieces a more uniform size but that's just my preference. It will cook down either way. Great for beef stew in the crock pot or instant pot. One pot meals for the win.

I love buying the stew meat it is always so tender when I cook it in my slow cooker with all the rest of my stew ingredients and I don't have to do anything extra except just throw everything in the crockpot in the morning and let it cook all day on low, than it will be ready for dinner.

Is it just me or has beef become less tasteful and tougher to chew? I know that what is fed to cattle plus the length of time they are fed grain equals how tender the meat is. I feel that we are probably more healthy with less grain fed cattle but we are missing out on tenderness and flavor.

Sure, plenty of protein, it is also tender when cooked in a slow cooker. However, there is a problem with the cost. It's astronomical. When compared to the amount of meat that is netted from this package, well, it's not a good value. The meat is full of fat, as well as some kind of liquid that I believe they've added prior to its being sold. So, you net only about 1/3 of the meat by weight, after it's cooked, and this liquid is cooked out.
